Why We Started This Blog

Managing horses involves a lot of moving parts — vet records, farrier schedules, breeding logs, expenses, and more. We built HorseBook to bring all of that into one place, and now we're starting this blog to share what we've learned along the way.

Whether you're managing a single horse or a full barn, we want this blog to be a practical resource you can turn to for guidance and ideas.

What You Can Expect

Here's what we'll be covering in the coming weeks and months:

  • Record-keeping tips — Best practices for organizing vet records, Coggins tests, and registration papers
  • Health management — How to stay on top of vaccinations, deworming schedules, and dental care
  • Breeding insights — Tracking mare cycles, managing breeding records, and preparing for foaling season
  • Product updates — New features, improvements, and tips for getting the most out of HorseBook
  • Farm management — Expense tracking, vendor management, and running a more organized operation

Built for Horse People

We're horse owners and managers ourselves, so every feature in HorseBook — and every post on this blog — comes from real experience in the barn. Our AI document scanner, for example, was born from the frustration of manually entering data from paper registration forms and vet invoices.

Stay Connected

We'll be publishing new posts regularly. In the meantime, if you haven't tried HorseBook yet, download it on the App Store or sign up for the web app to get started.

We're excited to have you here. Let's make horse management simpler, together.
